No Donation, No Payment & Anti-Fraud Policy
Suryalayam is built as an independent public-information and awareness platform. To protect the public and prevent misuse, we follow a strict no-money policy.
Our clear policy
Suryalayam does not ask for donations, does not accept donations, does not accept foreign contributions, does not collect membership fees, does not collect rescue charges, does not collect legal-service charges, and does not authorize anyone to collect money in the name of Suryalayam.
If someone asks for money
- Do not pay immediately.
- Ask for written authority and official identity.
- Do not transfer money to personal bank accounts, UPI IDs or wallets claiming to represent Suryalayam.
- Take screenshots of the request, phone number, account details or chat.
- Report misuse through the Suryalayam misuse-report page and, where necessary, to official authorities.
What we never authorize
- Donation collection in our name.
- Foreign contribution collection.
- Victim rescue fundraising.
- Lawyer fee collection.
- Hospital bill collection.
- Travel or document-charge collection by volunteers.
- Paid case handling through Suryalayam.
Why this policy exists
Protection-related topics involve vulnerable people. A no-donation and no-payment rule reduces fraud risk, protects visitors, protects volunteers, and makes Suryalayam’s public-information role clearer.
Official action first
If a person is in danger, money collection should not delay official emergency action. Contact emergency services, local police, Legal Services Authority, hospital, child-protection authority or other competent authority as applicable.
Public notice text
Suryalayam does not collect money. If anyone asks for payment, donation, transfer, UPI payment, foreign contribution or service fee using the Suryalayam name, treat it as unauthorized unless confirmed through an official written notice published on Suryalayam.com.
